Ok, finally heard something chilling on the radio.
This week's This American Life does something the warbloggers seem totally incapable of; talking to people of color.
Rather than at or about us, that is.
See Public Radio Fan for local airtimes and available 'net streams, and the show should be up at the TAL site early next week.
I'm confident the people who need to hear the show probably won't, or will manage to totally miss the point, but eh.
Update: Um, ok, Uppity-Shinob doesn't need to hear this. Neither does Laura. Or Jason. Or Trula. Or. . . in fact, maybe I should just delete this entry.
The Transom.org discussion for this show is currently empty, but it's early in the broadcast schedule yet.

Heaven forbid any of us have trouble talking to the pigemntally challenged... then we are screwed eh... hmm, maybe that's the great explanation of the urban ghetto... people that just can't talk to whitey.
Since whitey knows in his heart that he isn't racist, and gets really tired of you (field/tree/sand/generic) niggers suggesting he is, why bother talking?
Are you gonna sell bolo ties at your stand? I only have two, and I love the things.
Don't have to learn to tie nothing, for one. And people just don't expect Negroes to wear them.
"Are you gonna sell bolo ties at your stand? I only have two, and I love the things."
OK, you have certainly blown your cover. You are definitely a dyke from 1989.
. . .
I hate you.
