I have some tact, after all
If I didn't, I would have changed the index page to this yesterday:
The cover was either shown or mentioned at One Planet under a Groove: Hip Hop and Contemporary Art at the Walker. Which has a link to Free Radio Linux on their site, for some reason.
Well, as Agent Cooper said, "When two events happen simutaneously, pertaining to the same object of inquiry, we must always pay STRICT attention!
Which means I'll be doing the Debian install thing. It could be at least 10 or 15 minutes before I'm back online. Behave yourselves in the meantime.
No, I'm not cocky.
I'm just that damn good.
Update: Meh. Tried to do it right rather than fast, took about two hours. Would'a been less if I had a faster cd drive.

Oh hell yeah.
What can I say? Reading a bunch of overprivileged white people in the US whining puts me in a shit mood.

Best.Cover.Ever. What I can't figure out (said of course in a screechy Andy Rooney voice) is what she's holding. Is she conducting? Playing a theremin? What's the deal. Yep. I'm definitely channeling Andy Rooney. This is not good.

Screechy Andy Rooney voice and theremin. Yeah, that's what I needed in my brainmeats. Thanks for nothing, pal.
The "Forbidden Planet" soundtrack had lots of theremin.
"Return to the Forbidden Planet" has Julee Cruise, who popped up on Twin Peaks once or twice.
Funny how the drugs make you see connections everywhere, isn't it? And all the pretty colors. . .
Forgot Julee was (temporarily) in the B-52s. There's a trivia question for you.
