Windows and Mac types who have either the Liquid Audio Player or one of the plugins (available for WinAmp and Real Whateva) can download two tracks by, well, guess she never hit diva status, so call her chanteuse Anita Baker from Amazon. So they're not totally useless.
The ubiquitous Mr. da Costa (seriously, it's easier to name albums he isn't on. . . and you probably just ain't check closely enough) appears on Sweet Love, for sure; the cd and booklet for Rapture were handy, and I don't feel like looking up the other track just now. It's safe to say he's there.
Warbloggers will have to avoid her, of course, since evilnastybadnegro Spike Lee directed a video for Anita back in the day.
Damn, you people's lives must suck. What can you enjoy?

i forgot spike did some music videos. i'm going to go google up what those were...
did you enjoy the film "clockers"? i think it's one of the most beautiful films ever made, and i'm talking ever, even better than bertolucci or truffaut or kubrick or what have you. i'm talking, top ten best films EVER made.
i love filmmakers that make people angry. i suppose that's why i like paul verhooven so much.
ooohhhh...clockers. The rise of Mekhi Phifer.
Anything with Delroy Lindo is golden but throw in Harvey Keitel and John Turturro, guys who are more than willing to play unlikeable characters, and you've got good stuff.
It is a very attractive film. It was a very good book too. There's a whole lot of realism to it...which is also why I'm in love with "The Wire" right now.
fertile_jim, that "directed a video" link goes to a videography for Spike.
Was "Clockers" the one with Keitel talking to a witness/suspect named Jesus? Pronounced as the English & Americans do? If so, yes, seen it, loved it.
Guess I have to get around to seeing "Girl 6" at some point. . .
I keep trying to watch Girl 6 and keep failing each time.
No matter how much I want to get there, I can't seem to care about the character.
Know I saw something about the screenwriter for Girl 6 recently, but I have no clue where.
Meaning it was probably in Bitch.
Or, checking, that it was 2002 Pulitzer Prize winner Suzan-Lori Parks.
Guess she was having an off day when she did Girl 6.
I loved Girl Six. Something different and shared by precious few. Just the way I like 'em.
