Moving.

Update schedule may get weird. Or nonexistent. Or something.

Management apologizes for the inconvenience.

How dare you?

... oh, okay.

Hmm...I'm a little suspicious of this "Nothing Important Happened Today."

Snipers possibly caught and now no update from Aaron. Hmmmm...

damn...and I thought our "black people aren't serial killers" line of thinking was going to throw people off.

Although maybe Bill O'Reilly is tracking him down since now he's got his eye on "every black muslim"...Aaron's black, I'm sure Bill can figure out the muslim connection some kind of way.

I'm trying to decide which of these to be most offended by.

It's a toss-up, really.

I know what you were up to today, Aaron.

But I'm not telling.

Yet.

Hanne, you know what's going on?

And you're not telling?

Tease.

Why, yes, George. Yes. On all three counts.

And all I will say is that it should all be revealed in due time.

Happy trails, Aaron. Have a safe drive today.

I also know what was going on but I can probably be bribed to tell....for a price.

Thank you, dear.

And some geeks you guys turned out to be.

X-Files Season 9, Episode 1: Nothing Important Happened Today.

George, Hanne has nothing to reveal but her own complicity.

Note to self: Use Preview Button. Michelle, I've found some lovely Afro Ken background images I could use to spruce the place up a bit. . .

Hey I dig Afro Ken. If I remember correctly it was Hanne who was opposed to Afro Ken. I could be wrong though.

How on earth can I continue to act as president of the Aaron Hawkins fanclub if no one ever apprises me of the juicy gossip.

Afro Ken be damned! Spill it, sister!

I *think* I know what's going on, but I'm not sure exactly which goings on are being referred to here. Isn't that fun?

And now for something completely different.

Um, hey, Buffyheads? I gotta question, as a Buffy watcher who's new to the game. Does it smell to you guys like they're looking to wrap up this season or next? That sudden reference to Becoming Part 2 last time . . .suddenly Angel is back on the mental map . . and I heard that on Angel they're making noises about him 'living through his death,' to wit, getting out of being a vampire. Hm. Am I just clueless?

Also, I am pleased that last week's episode was not so weak that I had to continue to worry that a show I'd just picked up on had jumped the shark before I even joined the party. It was good. No shark-jumpy stuff. Yay.

Yes! More Afro Ken please! If you can't update, then at least give us the Afro Ken we deserve!

Garrity,

I was SO frustrated by last week's Buffy! I thought that people who saw Sarah Michelle Gellar on Saturday Night Live might *finally* tune in to the show to see what all the Buffy fuss is about -- and then Buffy presents one of its weakest episodes in years!! AGH! What WAS that?! This show has the absolute worst timing -- in terms of opportunity -- of any program I've ever watched!!

I dug the "All About Anya" ep this week, though -- well, once I realized that there was nothing wrong with my TV set during the sepia-toned Olaf flashbacks!

I still look at Olaf -- or rather, the actor, Abraham Benrubi -- and see Larry Kubiak from "Parker Lewis Can't Lose!"

Oh, sorry to be inaccurate! I thought LAST week's Buffy (the one about the Cassandra-figure) sucked big rocks. Weak plot, sucky overthematic dialigue, an all-around shark-jump warning. Even the attempts at humor blew goats. No, I meant the one THIS week, but nevertheless the the past (hence my misspeak), which rocked! That argument in which the 'message from Willow' was brought up . . that was what I was referring to. Thoughts?

Yeah, the weirdo Cassandra-girl deal was so goofy. I'd have stood for it if they were trying to set up a new character for Dawn and all, and this was the best way that they could think of to do it -- the Buffyverse is very big on those who can see the future! -- but then when she died ANYWAY, it was SO LAME!! At the very least, I love Spike, but if he plays cavalry to the rescue in just ONE more episode--!!! "Don't worry, everybody! We're gonna be saved by the crazy vampire that lives in the basement!!"

Spike can be my calvary any day.

Incidentally, George and dru and garrity and anyone else who cares... you can find out what our fabulous Mr. Aaron (who is *too* a hottie, no matter what he says) was up to yesterday afternoon by feasting your eyes on just a smidge of the results over here.

Purrrrrrrrr.

Blert! Dunno if that worked.

http://www.femmerotic.com/journal.html, and apologies for being HTML impaired this evening. It's the reading Latin all afternoon that does this to me.

Duplicate entries, bad html. . . what is it with you people lately?

I'm too busy fixing these things to actually notice the content of any of the comments.

That's such a cute new way of not accepting compliments, Aaron. Hahahaha.

aAh, yes. So I did in fact know about what I thought I knew everyone what talking about. And stuff.

Very nice. Often wished I had that sort of courage.

Hanne, I must concur. Aaron is a hottie.

That is all.

I'm just going to sit here and grin rather foolishly.

That's about the extent of what I have to offer. Besides, it's good to try and be quiet every once in a while. At least, that's what all my teachers in elementary school always told me.

I've never asked anyone this before: Aaron, will you be my body double? ;-)

. . .

Maybe after that extra hour of sleep tonight, I'll be able to respond to any of this properly.

In the meantime, thanks.

I was about to go make some sort of makeshift hand puppet and have it do the job for you, toots (in terms of responding to these comments properly -- ever notice how often sex writers feel we have to qualify all the comments we make?).

But then I realized that:
1) I'd not respect myself in the morning and be unable to make whatever I posted dissapear without begging.
2) You'd likely exact revenge next week by leaving me in the middle of Eau Claire with a "Crucify a vegan commie pornographer for Jesus!" sign on my back.
3) Blushing is rather a lot of fun and all too rare an occurrence these days.

:)

. . . hand puppet?

You really think you're going to make it all the way to Eau Claire?

We're going to Mitsuwa, by the way.

I have a feeling I'm going to need some plum wine before this is over. And green tea ice cream.

But mostly the wine.

I'm beginning to think there should be a label affixed to me somewhere that informs people that any sort of consumption of my person may drive them to drink and such consumption should perhaps not involve operating heavy machinery.

(But hooray for Mitsuwa all the same, yay!)

Chiming in late: I third Hanne and VASpider's comments about Aaron. ;-9 'Nuf said.

Thank you, Ginger. You're very sweet.

You can all let this meme die now, you know.

And there was no consumption of Heather's person of any sort going on. Nor was there plum wine. Didn't get any green tea ice cream either.

But I did meet Laurel, who was all infectious enthusiasm, and Erika, who reclines on a couch very well, so there was fun. Which I suppose I could write an actual entry about, if I ever remember my password to MT. . .

I'm just waiting to see how long it takes Aaron to notice the aaortal link on my page.

VASpider, I notice nothing, and shall continue to do so for the forseeable future.

Thank you. You're a sweetie.

But you can change that at any time.

Oh, very well...

And you're welcome.

I guess it's just my browser that makes me think that comments aren't taking.

All right...I'm officially miffed that I don't have UPN. The only shot I get at watching "Buffy" is re-runs on Fox.

Abraham Benrubi is typecast all to hell. And am I the only chick out there who thinks he's actually kinda good-looking...okay, thinks he's damn good-looking? (When I'm watching ER, I spend as much time leering at him as at Mekhi Phifer.)

Bill O'Reilly is a paranoid twit.

Green tea ice cream? Thought they only sold that in West Armpit...er, Humboldt County...CA.

Qit el-Remel, green tea ice cream is a delicacy. Especially if it's served properly.

Sorry to hear about the lack of Buffy; is there not a UPN affiliate where you are?

Unlike the old SFRT on GEnie, one may publicly whine for tapes here (lord knows I have), rather than just mentioning in an offhand fashion that you missed a show. Not that anyone remembers GEnie. Whippersnappers.

I need a tape of the episode that will be aired on December 17. The bastard UPN station here has decided to air a basketball game.
