Never mind.
The argument in the second paragraph [follow the link, lazybones] that the right side of the blogosphere constantly agrees upon everything as if they were sheep and ignoring opposition can also be easily applied to blogs on the left. Both sides are guilty in that regard.
Today's vocabulary word would be "manichean" but no one paid attention the last time. So instead it's "fuckwit."
For purposes of this discussion, the definition is, "one who actually believes the left/right dichotomy expressed in mainstream discourse in the US means something."

on a lighter note [bad pun intended] i detected a disturbing subtext in the "no more blonds" hoax, namely, it reminded me the paranoiac rhetoric of white supremacists that the so-called "white race" is supposedly an endangered species, so -- hoohah! -- their virulent racism is actually in self-defense! stunning. the thing that makes me saddest is that the community of nordic-identified ethnics such as myself have naively, sheepishly, stupidly taken up this bizarre and clownish crypto- (or not-so-crypto-)racist stance, as evidenced by the web site i saw recently of one of them ranting about how they were frightened that the nation of aztlan wanted to drive california whiteys into the ocean.
it's terrible what meth has done to our community, man. oh wait, i forgot, we don't have a community. never mind.
