I SOOOOO love that series. Most distrubing. Especially coming from the author of Ranma, wcih is marvelous, but let's be honest -- it's marvelous fluff.
I like the marvelous fluff. And am amazed that she can (ok, could) keep doing the same damn gags and always get a laugh out of me because she does 'em so well.
But yes, the Mermaid series(eses) worked well too. Quite versatile, is Rumiko.
