And together we're. . . Wyld Stallions!

Oh, come on, you must have seen that one coming.

As the fam will be trapped together over Thanksgiving, and god forbid we actually talk to each other, I'm looking for movie recommendations. Things the entire family can enjoy.

Meaning I'll be putting off my rental/viewing of Antonia's Line for a bit, I think.

Actually, since it's probably just my moms and two sisters, maybe that one would work. . .

So. Seen any good movies lately, that are out on video?

np: A Love Before Time, CoCo Lee, CTHD soundtrack

highly recommend "godzilla vs. the smog monster" for all family gatherings -- fun for the whole family.

save the earth!

Huh. Was it one of the Gamera movies had the wee small women in box?

I mean, no. Bad idea. Bad. Try again.

The Ron Jeremy biopic is a fun time, particularly if you're watching with the Moms.

Well, mine liked it.

Which Ron Jeremy biopic, Hanne?

The one that followed him around for a couple years?

Maybe that's the only one. I was really disturbed with his Narcolepsy (sp?) and now I always find it really humorous when movies show deleted scenes that Ron Jeremy was a part of.

Like the Dustin Hoffman/Ed Burns/Rachel Weisz flick, Confidence.

http://www.ronjeremy-themovie.com/ -- Porn Star is the title. I believe that's the only one.

But honestly? I adore Antonia's Line. It was the first DVD I ordered after we got a DVD player.

Nothing conjures up images of family fun like the phrase "Ron Jeremy." BUT, one corny movie I like is "Clue." Oldie but a goodie :-D

That one.. about that guy... that does that stuff..

How old are these "children?"

I say, watch Blow.

. . .

I am so never asking you motherfuckers for advice on shit again.

My older sis bought moms the Indiana Jones trilogy on DVD for her bday. Guess we can watch "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" with the commentary track by Vaishali (girl I knew at U of I), where she points out how racist it is against Indians.

Not Indianz. Indians. Do try to keep up.

Lauriean, Clue has Tim Curry, right? Guess we could get Rocky Horror; that there's quality family fun.

Kat, don't think I mentioned children. We're all Gen-X or older.

Hanne, haven't seen Antonia's Line since I caught it in the theater with my then-manager and her best friend. The post-film male bashing at the local coffee shop was. . . interesting, seeing as they'd both been through nasty divorces. Wonder if they have a commentary track?

And I don't think I've ever seen anything from Ron Jeremy's oeuvre, as I am pure and innocent. And shit.

Jason, did you catch last week's Angel, seeing as it had psycho goth chick Dru in it?
