Good thing I've only bought this once so far

And that was on VHS, so I don't feel too much like a tool for wanting this:

Dark Crystal Collector's Edition

More info from Sony Pictures, if you needed any.

For instance, if you bought one of the previous DVD releases. . .

Dude, if you ever come visit, we will pay a call on my friends' appt- one of them owns a huge coffeetable book of the artist's work [design sketches, background materials, etc]- it's phenomenal.

Ohmigod! Gotta love what DVD has done for old favories.

Neo, coolness. I'm looking forward to that visit more and more.

Did you see any episodes of The Storyteller? Think I caught half of one, thought it was brilliant, and promptly forgot to watch it again until after it got the axe. Because I suck.

j., I'd be more concerned about this obvious conspiracy to separate us from our hard(?)-earned money if the stuff wasn't so damned pretty. . .

I remember The Storyteller. It was marvelous.

But as to DC: any time that Henson gets togehter with former Monty Python members, the results simply must be divine.

Want DVD. Now.

*drool* this has to be one of my favorite all time movies...

hmmm...now I know what my parents can get me for Christmas! :)

I *did* buy one of the previous DVDs. And the new hardcover of "The World of the Dark Crystal."

Mutter.

I guess I have to get this new one.

Grumble, sigh.

Karin, I'll buy the previous DVD from you if you'd like. Figure I can rent the Extra Special version if I really want to see the new stuff.

BostonDyke, I'm surprised how well the movie held up to an after-several-decades repeat viewing as an adult.

Well, as an older person, anyway. Did you see it in the theater originally, or is that giving away too much?

Garrity, I'm going to pretend I didn't notice that The Storyteller is also out on DVD. Then when they release the Extra Special version of that in a few months/years, I won't feel too much like a too-- no, did that gag already.

Hey, good deal. Email me with mailing info, and I'll send it your way.

Karin, coolness. Email sent.

Why this reminds me that I finally joined Chicago Freecycle yesterday (thanks, Dru!) is just another illustration of how my badly damaged brain fails to work properly.
