Argh.

Nalo Hopkinson: Wednesday, November 05, 2003
Here's the schedule for the tour for The Salt Roads. It's subject to change, so please verify details before you act on them. If we know each other and you drop by any of these, please come and say hi. I'd love to see familiar faces. Be aware, though, that I anticipate that I'll be frazzled and underslept, which will make it entirely possible that I wouldn't recognize my own mother. So bear that in mind if I look at you blankly, and just hand me a clue.

Well, if I had actually gone to UC San Diego for the oh-so-useful PhD in Linguistics, I'm confident I would have missed her there at Mysterious Galaxy last night, too.

I will now grouse about my suckage for the rest of the day.

Grouse, grouse, tile grout, grouse.

Dang. I thought a few times of posting you a reminder, but decided it'd be really presumptuous of me to think that you might want to come by.

Nalo, reminders are always welcome, seeing as I have a mind like a. . . um, that thingee, the one with the little holes in it, where you can drain, like, pasta and stuff.

Any plans to come back through Our Fair City anytime soon?

And come t'think of it, if I buy an ebook, what would I take to the signing?

Just don't ask me to sign body parts. I've got some dear friends in Chicago, so there's always the chance that I'll come back. Any chance you'll get to the black science fiction festival in Seattle next summer? Or to Wiscon in Madison (annual feminist science fiction gathering)? http://www.sf3.org

Nalo, no idea. Long-range planning, not a strong suit. Especially since, due to suckage, I wasn't aware of either of those until you mentioned them. Thanks.

And ok, no body parts.

Geez.

Neil Gaiman would sign body parts. . .
