Buttercup (I'm A Super Girl), Shonen Knife.
And you could always watch the video, you know.

On a peripheral note, y'got any clue as to who is supposed to die in this year's DC Crisis/Reboot-of-the-moment event?
No clue, I'm afraid. The only DCU book I pick up regularly these days is Kyle Baker's Plastic Man, and I'm not sure it counts.
Am Waiting For the Trade™ on the Azzarello/Risso run on Batman, but don't tell nobody. I have a reputation to maintain.
And is it just me, or does every attempt to streamline continuity just make matters worse?
It ain't just you. I had given up on X-Men ages ago, when Clairmont & Byrne thought continuity meant changing every character and every book every third month.
And DC got so screwed up when they couldn't figure out how to reconcile all of the loose ends after Crisis/Armageddon/Zero Hour/DC One Million/Kingdom Come/whatever they dreamed up this week.
I've gone back to grabbing graphic novels myself, so that I can get a single story at one fell swoop without getting pulled six directions from Sunday.
I'll admit I'm a cheapskate enough to wait on the paperback of Hush before I get that either. [g]
Hey! I thought that mohawk looked great on Storm.
. . . who's bright idea was that again? And when did they get rid of it?
Ok, now that I think about it, I have been getting the last few issues of Grant Morrison's run on NEW X-MEN, and will be getting Ellis' Ultimate Fantastic Four. Priest's Captain America & Falcon, I'm starting to think, ain't even gonna get one issue published, since the new regime at Marvel seems to be against that sort of thing (politics, intrigue, intelligent writing) in mainstream books. Maybe it'll go to Marvel Knights. Or maybe I'm totally wrong. Wouldn't be the first time, won't be the last.
And please, tell no one of this, but I picked up two issues of Legion of Super-Heroes (which reminds me, the title of this entry is misspelled. . .) because they had Darkseid on the cover.
I mark for Kirby/Darkseid. Sad, really.
What was the last GN you picked up? Know it'll never happen in this lifetime, but I'd snap up collections of Blood Syndicate and Static (um, other than the one, which I didn't snap up. . .) in a minute.
I'm looking forward to Priest's Cap and Ellis' Ultimate FF. I'll almost definitely gonna get the Morrison New X-Men once they're all out in GN. I was a sucker for Storm in the mohawk, too; and secretly pined for Angela Bassett instead of Halle to play her.
The last two GNs I grabbed were The Ultimates and the latest Birds of Prey GN.
I'm a long-time LSH fan, but got lost during the Legion Lost storyline and haven't gone back since.
I'd give good money for a GN of Static, Blood Syndicate and Hardware.
