If she doesn't scare you, no evil thing will
Buzzflash has conducted a third interview with outlaw journalist Greg Palast. He insults Glenn Close and the memory of Dodie Smith by referring to Katherine Harris as "Cruella", and observes:
The law says remove ex-felons. It doesn't say to remove a bunch of innocent black people. Excuse me -- read the law again. It says ex-felons, not people who are innocent, but may vote for Al Gore.
I mean, whether Katherine Harris likes it or not, it is not a felony to want to vote for Al Gore. Being a Democrat or being an African-American is not, by itself -- it puts one under suspicion, I grant -- but it's not the final word in whether someone is, in fact, a criminal. If they vote for Al Gore more than once, that's criminal.
I'd make the obligatory Chicago/Cook County joke, but I'm sure you've heard them all before. . .
The interview also covers Venezuela and our supposedly liberal media. Nothing earth-shattering, unless you thought all that talk about democracy in this country actually meant something.
But who cares about that when Ventura isn't running again?
Find your own link for that one, if you actually see it as a pressing issue. Don't let that screen door hit you on the way out.
