Jaan Pehechaan Ho (1st verse)
Depending on who you ask, Mariko Mori is either an expressive artist blending modern technology with ancient Far Eastern beliefs to produce works of complex beauty, or an ex-model passing herself off as an expressive artist, with nary a thought in her pretty little head.
Since most of us have no stake in this controversy, the whole thing looks a bit silly. Either you like her art, or you don't. It might strike you as exoticism verging on Asian fetishism, or as an exploration of (wo)man-machine relations in the 21st century and beyond.
Since artists and art critics don't go around killing one another, at least not recently, you can always just ignore the noise, look at the pictures, and have whatever reaction they bring out.
I have no point. I'm just typing stuff.
