Jaan Pehechaan Ho (3rd verse)
I first became acquainted with the Yezidi through King Peacock, a character in Alan Moore and Gene Ha's comic book, TOP 10.
The movie Ghost World is based on a comic book by Dan Clowes.
The Ghost World DVD is worth renting for the Jaan Pehechan Ho music video alone.
Doesn't matter if you've read Shakespeare in the Bush and Stranger in the Village, know lots of different people from lots of different cultures, and feel you've got a handle on the whole disparate worldviews thing. It'll make your head go 'splody.
But in a good way.
