Synchronicity/Relativity (I)
The Wayback Machine/Internet Archive is run by Alexa. They also provide content for the Smart Browsing/What's Related feature in Netscape, and a similar feature in Internet Explorer. For some reason, using either of these for the dot-com I used to work for would bring up, um, porn. Mostly Japanese porn, to be specific.
Since I was the one who first noticed this, my co-workers maintained that I was responsible. That I'd sat around visiting porn sites and gleefully submitting them as somehow related to our company.
I was a bit taken aback by this. So I asked them, "How evil do you think I am?"
The general consensus was, "Pretty fucking evil."
I submit for the record that it wasn't me. I give you my word as a Negro.
(I know, "No good. I've known too many Negroes." Yes, you're very smart. Shut up.)
