Actually, it was Bahamut Zero

I never learn.

Went for a walk last night on the Loring Greenway. There was a police car there in stealth mode. Slowly idling with minimal engine noise, headlights off. . . why, if the greenway wasn't so well lit, there wasn't that rack of highly reflective lights on the roof, and the white of the car hadn't stood out in such sharp relief from the, um, green, I'd never have noticed it.

It was too dark to read the distinctive POLICE on the car's license plate. Perhaps that was the effect he was going for.

So I looked at the fool. And I kept walking. And he hit the side-mounted flood and pointed it at me.

I turned to give him a better shot at my chest, and gave a smile and a jaunty wave -- although I've been told that gesture looks more like I'm casting Level 3 death.

Which is absurd.

Minneapolis would have a much smaller population if I could cast Level 3 death.
