Some Don't Like It Hot
There's a rock band playing in the park across the street.
Not one of your wussy, shoe-gazer, ethereal female vocals type rock bands -- the only ones I like -- but a real, genuine all-male rock band which has obviously studied how rock bands are supposed to act, and are either doing a pale imitation, or deliberately subverting the stereotype by portraying it in such a banal fashion.
Whatever. I'm waiting for Double Indemnity to start.
Every year, Walker Art Center presents films in the park, with an opening band. This year, the films are all by Billy Wilder. Which is all well and good -- I still haven't seen The Apartment, among others -- but this means older people are dropping by to see the films.
They're not impressed with the rock band, either.
Meanwhile, the kids who came for the band don't look thrilled with the older people.
Personally, I was sick of the lot.
