Starting the day on a high note

Looks like I wasn't the only one less-than-thrilled with Bush's non-answer at the Monday press conference. The Guardian reports:

Relations between the White House and black American leaders slumped to a new low yesterday after President Bush gave a dismissive answer when asked why he was not addressing the convention of the National Association for the Advancement of Coloured Peoples, the most respected black pressure group in the US.

At his press conference on Monday night, Mr Bush answered: "Let's see. There I was sitting around the table with foreign leaders looking at Colin Powell and Condi Rice _ " His voice then trailed away, he shook his head and moved on to the next question; the implication being that two black people in his inner circle was a substitute for outreach to the rest of the community.

His words were certain to cause outrage, and seemed an uncharacteristic piece of political ineptitude.

My only quibble is with the word "uncharacteristic" in that last graph.

Clearly, white people are trying to piss us off. It's the only explanation that makes sense. No clue why they would want to do this, unless it's related to the Christian groups helping Jews emmigrate to Israel so as to hasten the Second Coming.

"Annoying the Negroes" must be mentioned in the Apocrypha somewhere.

Let's all have a round on GW. While we're at it, let's bring in those purty Texas Sweethart daughters of his too.

After the 2000 election was finished, and checked for accuracy, illegitimate votes eliminated, and obvious flaws and duplicates removed, I think there was a grand total of 3 Negroes voting for GW, FWO. Those poor bastards thought it would be funny, voting for another bush, cuz there's no way he could win.

His whiteness amazes even me.

Dude, I wouldn't touch the Bush girls with *your* di--

Eheh, I mean, stop saying bad things about them. According to Ann Coulter, Chelsie got a free ride for 8 years, and the Tequilla Twins should get the same consideration.

The difference though...Chelsea actually turned out to be kinda hot in a 'she's no longer horridly ugly' kind of way plus she's smart and hangs out with all those cool entertainment cats that traipse around europe.

the bush twins just like liqour.

Jason, now you're being unfair.

I'm sure the Bush twins also picked up their daddy's coke habit.

I must warn you that if you insist on referencing Ann Coulter I will probably have to throw up.

That notion that conservatives are crazy? Ann removes any and all doubt that it is completely true.

Conservatives keep insisting that Coulter is brilliant and gorgeous.

Then they wonder why I call them ignorant fuckheads.

This does make for fun reading, though: http://www.nationalreview.com/nr_comment/nr_comment100301.shtml

When the National Review tells you to calm the fuck down, you have clearly gone 'round two or three bends.
