Head 'em off at the past
Before someone suggests I "lighten the fuck up", WHEDONesque is open. I am now Not Reading spoilers for the next season of Buffy and upcoming Fox series Firefly.
Sight-unseen, I'm certain Firefly will be much, much better than Andromeda.
On the other hand, Lexa Doig in leather doing wire-fu.
Oh, and here's why I avoid hanging out with Certain People Who Shall Remain Nameless -
We're in a bookstore. There's a photo of Ms. Doig on the cover of some magazine or other.
Her: Ok, what is she?
Me: Um, I think her mom's Filipina. . .
Her (loudly): She can't be Filipina, she has no ass.
Me (looking around at the people, including small children, staring at the two of us): I have never seen this woman before in my life.
