you gave me too much room
Haven't commented on the HIV-positive muppet in development for the South African version of Sesame Street, mostly because it ain't airing here, I gots no children that I'm aware of, and infection rates over there are so different from here that culturally, I have no business running off at the mouth. Oddly, I know very few PWAs, or am only aware of a few. Not like they wear bloody warning signs, although I suppose conservatives would prefer if they did.
But now some Republicans have decided to head off any attempt to introduce the character in the U.S. version. I expect the warbloggers will start commenting on this directly.
With all due respect -- which is none -- the show is aimed at low-income children of color. Despite being immature emotionally, intellectually and sexually, you are not children, most of you don't seem low-income and the most color you see is on Hawaiian Shirt Friday. If anyone wants your opinion. . . no, no one is ever going to want your opinion. Shut the fuck up.
