They're taking donations for extra costs this issue
Anya (who's probably going to kick my ass when he figures out that nick) links to a Yahoo! News article on the upcoming head-to-head competition between The Bernie Mac Show and My Wife and Kids. Figure despite Switzerland applying to join the U.N., the gag still works and I can declare my neutrality by continuing to watch neither.
The Pink issue of Bitch magazine (which doesn't have Pink on the cover, although another mag does this month. . .) features an article about Black women on television. Good stuff if you can find a copy; doesn't look like they put content online for us cheapskates.
I'd forgotten Janet Jackson's character on Fame was named Cleo. Heh. Miss Cleo if you're psychic.
There's also a short piece on Shakira's transformation into a Britney like-a-look. I call 'em Pop Tarts, but probably ripped that off from Bust or somebody. Although Shakira seems to have actual, you know, talent, instead of relying solely on the blond-with-a-nice-rack-wearing-skimpy-clothes thing. And, as the article mentions, the blond thing is new. . .
