Elsewhere, away from my Fortress of Suckitude
Changed the links over yonder for RedHeadDread and Interesting Monstah, finally. And have probably forgotten something else I'd meant to update, due to sucking so much.
F'r instance, I'm fairly certain that Ushi link next to Hanne's is broken, but can't check, since The Man won't let me access her site at all.
She has a piece in the current Baltimore City Paper, by the bye. Which I cannot quote, since I can never do that for people I know for some reason.
Oh, that's right. Because I suck.
It's about Chick Lit. You know, novels where sucky men like me are the source of misery for women who should know better.
Why yes, I am going to keep doing this all day. What else do I have to do, seeing as I was so sure I was meant to be meeting someone for dinner tonight rather than yesterday. . .
Also of note, and noted at ¡Journalista!, is a QA at Silver Bullet Comic Books asking the musical question Why Don't "Black Books" Sell?:

Doesn't the second question answer the first one?”
And there's a hideously ill-informed answer about Milestone that I can't even bring myself to quote.

Off topic, but inspired by the "Black book" question, if you ever get a chance to see the Blackstuntman multimedia exhibition they had at the comic art exhibition at CAM in Houston, I recommend it.

That is the way Hanne's site comes up in the evil information blocker where I work: "this site classified as SEX."

Dru, your evil information blocker beats the one here. They don't even tell me why the site is off limits.
There is an 800 number to call, if one feels one has received the message in error.

Wow. Dru (whom I shamefully owe at least one or two e-mails), I must say that I am honored to come up "SEX" at your workplace. It's all the more pleasing because there's nothing smutty on my site, 'less you count the jpegs of a few book covers.

maybe there's some sort of character counter that cuts off "SEXY" before the y. Wouldn't want all of those adolescent schoolchildren getting all lathered up, would we?
