Hello Kitty!
Since I managed to stumble here via the Free for All Friday page to see if anyone else actually decided to participate... I figured I'd post.
Favorite Sanrio character, eh?
Hello Kitty. I fanatically collect Hello Kitty things. I have 2 polar fleese blankets, 1 set of bed sheets, 4 shirts, 2 pairs of pajama pants, TONS of stationary, a dream pillow, 2 keychains, 2 figurines, 2 tins, 3 puppets, a wallet, a backpack, a purse, and probably a whole lot more. :D
Anyway, I'm Nikkiana, and I'm signing off. Happy Free For All Friday!

Appropos of nothing in this article but referring to something you quoted days ago, today, March 26, is the anniversary of Walt Whitman's death in 1892. Walt Whitman ushered in the modern era of poetry, singing the body electric and, as you mentioned, wondering whether he contradicted himself and then accepting that he contradicted himself with a beautiful calm in which he celebrated his own contradictions. While some poets wrote and write of psychic conflicts, cultural nuance, beauty, whimsy, pain, and nature, Walt Whitman eloquently celebrated the qualities of being a human being.

Hello, Nikkiana. Thanks for dropping by.
As others have mentioned, your site is, um, very, very pink.
I like it.
Dean, thanks, but I'm not a big fan of the total non-sequitur comment, so could you not ever do that again? Thanks.
Besides, I didn't post this entry. . .

Michelle, well, you were warned, you know.
Er, I'm assuming Belinda is reading this to you off the screen. Or do you have one of those cool speech synthesis thingees? So everyone sounds like MC (Stephen) Hawking?
Because that would just rawk.
